STUDIO KA: POP-UP AFRICA NOW
EXCLUSIVE SALE AT GALERIES LAFAYETTE

A showcase to radiate internationally
In 2024, Studio Ka, the showcase brand of the Africa Fashion Up program, marked a decisive step by organizing the first-ever sale of African designers under the Coupole of the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, in the heart of Paris. Present during the Paris Fashion Week, designers benefited from privileged access to key industry networks and visibility in the most influential circles of international fashion.

The return to Galeries Lafayette

In 2025, Studio Ka returned to Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann with a new highlight. Following the Africa Fashion Up show, the pop-up Africa Now, supervised by the brand, was inaugurated under the dome, on the third floor (ready-to-wear), from June 18 to July 8. The event, welcomed in particular by Vincent Sénécat, director of Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, by His Excellency Nkosinathi Emmanuel, Ambassador of South Africa to France, His Excellency Maurice Bandaman, Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire to France, as well as by Her Excellency Christine Ouinsavi, ambassador of Benin in France, Aichatou Boulama Kané ambassador of Niger in France, the producer singer Fally Ipupa illustrated the successful alliance between African creativity and Parisian excellence.

Three designers – Abdou Lahad Gueye (Algueye, Senegal), Collé Ardo Sow (Senegal) and Samuel Sauthier (Bandama Clothing, Côte d'Ivoire) – presented an exclusive selection of ready-to-wear, luxury accessories and unique pieces. This pop-up allowed an international clientele to acquire original items while supporting young African creation. Located in the heart of Paris, it has constituted a decisive step in the expansion of creators on the European scene, reinforcing both their visibility and international recognition.
